Redevelopment of Mountainhall Treatment Centre

mountainhallB+A supported NHS Dumfries & Galloway to develop plans to relocate all services and departments currently located within Crichton Hall (Board Headquarters) to Mountainhall Treatment Centre. The range of services includes clinical and a number of corporate and administrative functions including the Executive team and Executive Directorates; in total over 600 staff.

We worked with teams to establish their accommodation requirements then undertook a master planning exercise to identify the optimal location for accommodation within Mountainhall Treatment Centre.

In developing future requirements, we took into account modern working practices and arrangements including agile working, hot-desking and worked with Informatics colleagues to ensure the information management requirements of services / departments is provided.

We developed a mini-business case for internal approval adopting a 5 case (best practice business case) approach to set out the aims, objectives and benefits associated with the proposed move as well as the anticipated costs and management arrangements to deliver the project in exceptionally short timeframe (4months).
